Following the inaugural of its virtual edition last November, the country’s leading building and construction show is ready to take over your screens once again with the 2nd PHILCONSTRUCT VX – a virtual trade event that aims to continue connecting the industry in the digital space. The event will go live on March 26 and will be accessible until March 30. To register, head over to https://philconstruct.vx-events.com
“You can trust that PHILCONSTRUCT is committed to find ways to serve the industry so that we can bounce back stronger than ever. This March, we’re excited to bring you our 2nd VX edition and look forward to once again connecting buyers and sellers online, everywhere,” said Engr. Ronaldo Elepaño, Jr.
The virtual event will see the second round of its knowledge-sharing platform which also went online last November. Titled Technoforum, it will host a number of sessions to tackle today’s most pressing issues, especially focusing on the need for collaboration between architecture, interior design, and construction as we prepare for the post-pandemic era. This is why the event will open with a roundtable discussion on the said topic.
This will be followed by a session of none other than award-winning Archt. Ed Calma who will talk about the creative process behind his latest and upcoming projects.
On March 25, the Philippine Green Building Initiative will present A GREEEN Case Study for Green Building, focusing on the Hyundai Logistics Center which is the first green-certified vehicle logistics hub in the Philippines.
It will be followed by the IINN Webinar Series – SIDS + PIID Webinar, presented by the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers, Inc. in collaboration with the Singapore Interior Design Institute. This webinar will focus on how the interior design industry continues to thrive through resilience of the practice, person, profession.
On March 26, the event will open with a forum presented by the United Architects of the Philippines – Manila Atelier Chapter titled Unlocking Creativity, Inspiring Designs. This will feature award-winning personalities in the world of architecture and design.
“We are always inspired to bring new content and learning opportunities at PHILCONSTRUCT through Technoforum. Fortunately, we managed to gain the support of our peers from the architecture and interior design fields. We are very excited about the quality of speakers. These sessions are must-attend and we encourage everyone in the these industries to check it out,” shared Ruben Cueto, chairman of Technoforum 2021.
All these are free to attend for registered guests of the event. Interested attendees can secure their passes at https://philconstruct.vx-events.com
Aside from the learning sessions, visitors can also connect with industry suppliers at the exhibition where PHILCONSTRUCT VX is welcoming Interior & Design Manila VX as a special feature for March. Interior & Design Manila is the country’s only curated trade event for the profession and has been around since 2016. This is the first time the event will be held virtually.
Exhibitors include the show’s co-presenters: Pacific Paints (BOYSEN) Philippines, Inc., Solid Source Trading Corporation, and Premier XProject; as well as show sponsor Dimension-All Inc. There will also be a pavilion by CCI France-Philippines.
“The Philippine Constructors Association, Inc. (PCA) PCA encourages digitization and modernization – developing new professional competencies that incorporate modern technology, innovation, and digitization to greatly improve productivity,” said Engr. Will Decena, president of PCA. “PHILCONSTRUCT VX is one of the ways we are leading by example in this arena.”
