The world’s first magnetic propulsion pen is as awesome as it sounds. Called the Quotidian Pen, it isn’t like your ordinary pen found in school supplies stores.
It is a ballpoint-pen having the first magnetic propulsion mechanism, meaning it uses the strong attraction and repelling forces of rare earth magnets. Each one has magnets called Neodymium, which are super strong axially magnetized rare-earth magnets. This is famous to be the strongest and most permanent magnets, allowing for the Quotidian Pen to be like it is.
Once you get a hand of this pen, you will notice that the there is no pen nib upon breaking the cap. But upon bringing its cap to the back of the body, the pen nib will just propel out.
Fidgeting with this pen is not like the ones with the regular pens where you click and uncap. In Quotidian Pen, the magnetic forces allows the cap to interact with the body the coolest and addictive way possible.
More importantly, the way you write with this 125-mm long pen is also fantastic, thanks to its center weighting. That feature of the pen allows for an effortless and premium writing experience.
It is pretty minimalist too, which fits any occasion and style. It has the modern touch to its elegant design, coming in aluminum and brass.
Needless to say that the Quotidian Pen will change the way you see, use and fidget with a pen forever. It is now looking for backers on Kickstarter, with 638 so far pledging $71,046.
