It’s obvious that CEO’s and other company bosses’ salaries are way higher than that of their employees, but have you ever wondered who are among the list of the Highest Paid CEO in the world?

Bloomberg has released a list of the world’s 10 highest paid bosses, and guess what, five of them are engineers graduate or has an engineering background!

The top highest paid CEO in Bloomberg list is Elon Musk.

Elon Reeve Musk (born June 28, 1971) is a business magnate, industrial designer, engineer, and philanthropist.

He is the founder, CEO, CTO and chief designer of SpaceX; early investor, CEO and product architect of Tesla, Inc.; founder of The Boring Company; co-founder of Neuralink; and co-founder and initial co-chairman of OpenAI. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS) in 2018. In 2018, he was ranked 25th on the Forbes list of The World’s Most Powerful People, and was ranked joint-first on the Forbes list of the Most Innovative Leaders of 2019.

Timothy Donald Cook (born November 1, 1960) is an American business executive, philanthropist and industrial engineer.

Cook is the chief executive officer of Apple Inc., and previously served as the company’s chief operating officer under its cofounder Steve Jobs.

Cook was born in Mobile, Alabama, United States. His father, Donald, was a shipyard worker, and his mother, Geraldine, worked at a pharmacy.

Pichai Sundararajan (born June 10, 1972), known as Sundar Pichai, is an Indian-American business executive. He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google LLC.

Born in Madurai, India, Pichai earned his degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in metallurgical engineering. Moving to the United States, he attained an M.S. from Stanford University in materials science and engineering and further attained an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was named a Siebel Scholar and a Palmer Scholar, respectively.

The ninth highest paid CEO in Bloomberg list is Satya Narayana Nadella

Born 19 August 1967, Nadella is an Indian-American business executive. He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Microsoft, succeeding Steve Ballmer in 2014. Before becoming CEO, he was the executive vice president of Microsoft’s cloud and enterprise group, responsible for building and running the company’s computing platforms.

Nadella attended the Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet before receiving a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology in Karnataka in 1988.
