About the Leader
I am Carl Ballantine and currently the business development manager of Algrand Battery based in China and Germany.
I have more than 10 years of work experience in the roles of business development, account, project management, sales and marketing, customer relationship management, social media management, business consultancy, and translation (Chinese – English).
Main industries that I have worked in include energy, education and banking & finance. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Newcastle Business School in International Business Management and gained my master’s degree in international business from the University of Suzhou, China. I have also attained an HSK level 5 qualification in Mandarin, Chinese.
Having been based in China for the past 8 years, I have developed many contacts in a variety of industries and have witnessed the rapid development of the Chinese economy first hand. As the quality of Chinese products has improved drastically in recent years, I am now working for ALLGRAND New Energy Technology Company which is one of the leaders in the manufacturing of both lithium and AGM batteries in Asia.
About Allgrand Battery
Establshed in 1987, ALLGRAND is a globally recognized producer of lithium, both FePO4 & MNC cells and batteries, as well as AGM batteries. Our batteries are optimised for PV Storage, UPS/Standby Power, Electric Vehicles and Telecommunications applications. Through the recent establishment of ALLGRAND Europe GmbH, we have added portable power generators, stationary batteries and energy storage systems to our diversified product range.
With two manufacturing plants located in northern China, just a 1-hour train journey from Beijing, ALLGRAND has developed a rich expertise in designing, producing and manufacturing lithium-ion and gel / VRLA batteries for worldwide industry leading distributors. Both plants are capable of producing more than 10,000 units daily and have a total workforce of 1,000 employees.
Thanks to our patented technologies, ALLGRAND is able to make highly sophisticated systems with excellent safety characteristics. Part of our operations includes two fully automated plants for the production of both NMC and LiFePo4 cells as well as lead acid batteries. Both plants are capable of producing more than 10,000 units daily.
ALLGRAND offers a wide range of solar storage systems for homes; communities, hotels and even islands. In addition, these storage systems can be converted for use in the telecommunications industry as well as for UPS / backup power for any data centre. Also, our power batteries can be used for motive applications such as electric cars, fleets of buses, trams, tourist carts, golf carts, forklifts, cleaning machines, scooters, and many more.
ALLGRAND’s gel battery plant was established in 1987. It is a high-tech enterprise which produces supreme quality and long-life gel batteries with applied German technology. Through R&D, professional manufacturing, sales and battery recycling, we continue to improve the quality of our gel and AGM batteries.
ALLGRAND’s Lithium battery plant designs and produces both NiMnCo and LiFePO4 lithium-ion cylinder batteries which are assembled of either our 18650, 40152 or 40155 cells. Through the steady expansion of our international team of experts and utilisation of German technology we are producing high quality international lithium-ion batteries which are safe and reliable.
With four main types of applications and more than 100 different battery models, our batteries are readily available and have a lead time of just 12 days.
We have passed ISO9001:2008 quality management system, ISO14001: GBT28001-2001OHSMS, CE, TLC, KIT, as well as attaining the North Vehicle Research Institute Certification.
